My story covers growing up, the world I navigated as actress and singer on Broadway and NYC during the sixties, while flaunting sex, alcohol and musical comedy. Recovery changed the course of the story, introducing sobriety, a peculiar but perseverant marriage, baffling parenting, a unique spiritual journey, and many careers: Emmy winning lyricist for Sesame Street, actor, singer, waitress, teacher, substance abuse counselor, practicing psychotherapist, and published writer. Recovery has also led me to be less miserable, slightly less self-centered, and hopefully funnier. The piece is threaded through by an archetypal flash fiction character named Miss Alabaster, into a post-modern, kaleidoscopic memoir."},{"label":"dcterms.available","value":"Permanent"},{"label":"dcterms.contributor","value":"Rosenblatt, Roger"},{"label":"dcterms.creator","value":"Bloomfield, Maggie"},{"label":"dcterms.dateAccepted","value":"2017-09-20T16:52:33Z"},{"label":"dcterms.dateSubmitted","value":"2017-09-20T16:52:33Z"},{"label":"dcterms.description","value":"Department of Creative Writing and Literature."},{"label":"dcterms.extent","value":"124 pg."},{"label":"dcterms.format","value":"Application/PDF"},{"label":"dcterms.identifier","value":"http://hdl.handle.net/11401/77349"},{"label":"dcterms.issued","value":"2014-08-01"},{"label":"dcterms.language","value":"en_US"},{"label":"dcterms.provenance","value":"Made available in DSpace on 2017-09-20T16:52:33Z (GMT).
