In general, the algorithms proposed are computationally expensive and require dealing with the type and dimension synthesis separately. The thesis presents an interactive software tool for unified type and dimension synthesis of planar four bar mechanism and its simulation. It implements an efficient and linear algorithm that naturally extracts the geometric constraints of a motion and leads directly to the type and dimensions of a mechanism for motion generation. The software has been developed using C++, OpenGL and Qt. The software uses an Object Oriented Programming (OOP) architecture which can be extended to other types of mechanism."},{"label":"dcterms.available","value":"2017-09-20T16:50:18Z"},{"label":"dcterms.contributor","value":"Chen, Shikui"},{"label":"dcterms.creator","value":"Toravi, Abhijit"},{"label":"dcterms.dateAccepted","value":"2017-09-20T16:50:18Z"},{"label":"dcterms.dateSubmitted","value":"2017-09-20T16:50:18Z"},{"label":"dcterms.description","value":"Department of Mechanical Engineering."},{"label":"dcterms.extent","value":"59 pg."},{"label":"dcterms.format","value":"Monograph"},{"label":"dcterms.identifier","value":"http://hdl.handle.net/11401/76456"},{"label":"dcterms.issued","value":"2013-12-01"},{"label":"dcterms.language","value":"en_US"},{"label":"dcterms.provenance","value":"Made available in DSpace on 2017-09-20T16:50:18Z (GMT).
