Compounds 1, 2, and 4 are formed ethanol-water mixtures as solvent, while compound 3 is formed using only ethanol.  All reactions take place at 105??C.  Luminescent properties, thermo gravimetric analyses (TGA), and powder x-ray diffraction (PXRD) of these complexes have also been studied.  Compounds were excited at 397 nm and Tb2 (TDC)3 shows the most intense emission of the four compounds.
