Streamflow accounts for most of the freshwater supplied to the bay. This source is routinely gaged by the U.S. Geological Survey. The second largest contribution is the submarine outflow of ground water\nacross the bay floor. Direct measurements of this source are reported here. This is the first such study of the submarine outflow into Great South Bay or, indeed, into any coastal body of water.\""},{"label":"dcterms.isFormatOf","value":"Bokuniewicz, Henry J. All works are based on the original, analog (paper) records as released by SOMAS, except where born digital only records have been loaded to the system.
